Breath Test

A breath test is a test that analyzes a person’s breath to estimate or measure the amount of alcohol in their system. In Texas DWI investigations, an evidentiary breath test may be used to determine a person’s alcohol concentration. Depending on the circumstances, refusing or failing a breath test can result in administrative driver’s-license consequences through the Texas Administrative License Revocation program.
